It is good technology that will have use outside gaming. So far there is no games that are really amazing that utilize vr.
I thought it was a meme before my friend got one and let me try it out. It feels great, just needs to become cheaper so more people will make content for it.
>it's cheap and accessible so it'll surely take off

>people have been waiting for almost 30 years to play VR
>people will wait another year or two for VR to get better games to justify the $800 hardware
Looks like your mom isn't in this thread. Because that bitch takes off her clothes for me nightly.

>false equivalency
I've tried this once. It's actually great, but it doesn't really matter unless people make games for it. Once Sony releases their (probably shit) VR set there's a chance devs will make multiplats that utilize the tech, jump starting the whole thing. It could also not actually take off. We should wait and see.

The googles is what is great.
The whole "your body is the controller" is retarded.

whatever
Is VR porn any good?

I think it will take off, but not for a few years. It has a lot of potential but devs are just making shitty gimmick waggle games for a quick buck. These sorts of games just aren't suitable here and could be done better on other systems. Video games are going have to step up a notch if they want to make the most of VR. It needs true innovation and creativity, something that's only possible with VR. Honestly right now video games just aren't ready for it, the tech would be better suited to things like interactive "experiences" like films or something (imo).
