I STILL haven't finished it
I just had the Butler Man join me so I could find his master's brother I guess, but I'm still not certain what that had to do with the plot. Frankly I haven't been sure of much ANYTHING from the get-go, nobody seems to act like a human.
-Main Character man is in med-school, he has a professor he really likes, he probably has friends, but he's sent on the run from the law and doesn't seem really phased by his professor's death and the fact that he's public enemy number 1 in his hometown.
-Millia's 4 great spirits got taken, so we went on a journey to resummon them, which turned into a crock of shit because they were imprisoned rather than killed. That fact was clear to me just from watching the cutscene, why didn't the characters understand?
Oh yeah, and we seem to have found a similar doo-dad when we went to find the Butler's buddy, but no one really comments on it, and we immediately return home for a cutscene.
-I'm tired of the battle system, it's just not fun
-All the little dialogue interludes are just retreads of tired old anime cliches, and the one girl with a sock-puppet as a stand, her and her sock-puppet's dialogue are like sandpaper in my ear

Funny thing is, the voice actress doesn't have a lisp at all. Either the voice director fucked up, or the equipment fucked up. Also her other Milla voice in Xillia 2 was fucking miles better. This is the simple truth. The game is barren and and the copy-pasting is off the charts. The pacing of the plot is absolutely terrible, even by Tales standards. Playing the game it's impossible not to notice how rushed the game is. You can easily tell that there is very little effort put into many of the maps. It's still better than Zestiria, but /v/ is way to forgiving of Xillia's shortcomings.I still enjoyed it because I'm a complete faggot for Tales games

No. But a lot of the character interactions and where they come from go missing if you start with 2. Xillia 2 is great. But people who played the first one, didn't like that it had very little new areas.

ToX has a lot of dumb weeb shit. A lot of it like holy shit fucking no life otakus made this.
But the gameplay is fucking fantastic. As someone who's sick of the lack of real time elements in JRPGs and weak real time elements of WRPGs both the ToX games were a lot of fun to play. Shit maybe I just like ARPG style games a lot, but even after the dumb weeb stuff these games are worth playing because unlike other weeb stuff the game's mad fun to play.
