You mean 90% of the game? And I like New Vegas more than 3, but it's still an empty game. One area that disappoints me is the one that is east of Vegas. Generally speaking that river with the mountain cliffs, you're expecting secrets or a town or something but nope, nothing. I guess there's that DLC that makes up for it, but I feel like the world of New Vegas is so barren.
There's this one NCR area with a gate and I kept thinking that eventually we'll back to it and it'll open up new areas and what have you. So disappointing TBQH desu senpai.
Even worse, you can't romance the best companion, Sharon. Imagine what Obsidian could have done with one more year, fully polished game and more companions getting proper development.

DLC included, my reasoning is the new enemies added in 3 with more health and better defense than fucking super mutant behemoths, while at the same time dishing out ludicrous amounts of damage. Skyrim had a similar problem with enemies being gods among men past a certain level, and from what bits of combat from random vids I've seen fallout 4 has a similar problem.

The only DLCs for New Vegas I haven't completed are Lonesome Road and the Casino Madre something. Odd World Blues was 50/50 for me, good moments but the humor was stuck in High School sophomore year. I get what it's trying to be, but the humor just doesn't work for me. It had some good highs and some lows for me, but it's the most "meaty" complete package of the DLC.
Honest Hearts is what I remember being exceptionally good, if a little short. But back to what I was talking about, I feel like the map of New Vegas could have used like 6 more months to fill in the empty gaps of nothing. Thankfully we have a mod community but I don't think anyone made anything that good.

I don't remember if the outcasts had vertibirds or not, but that would be my first guess, then I'd say the wheeled robots whos names escape me at the moment, they look like they could lug something like that around. Probably wouldn't be safe or whatever.
At the very least, they could've acknowledged that they know it exists, kind of like how they could've at least included an exchange with the brotherhood acknowledging president Eden was a robot. I don't think there's a line of dialogue with anyone come to think of it.

I concede that point. I also concede that the bomb was also just an afterthought to make the player a hero off the bat. That said, people give the wrong criticisms for that bomb, Megaton's existence (Megaton was made in that bomb's crater as shelter from the sand storms) or the cult that worshipped it (they were there first and the early settlers needed their help to build and fortify it, and they refused to do either if the bomb was removed).
