Exactly. Giving a character a cartoony red/pink nose isn't inherently bad, but some artists will just tack a big red nose onto everyone's face even when it doesn't suit them or make any sense. Wario has a pink nose to accentuate what an ugly bastard he is, but characters like Mario, Luigi, and Peach don't because it doesn't suit their designs.

Actually, if you take the implications of that game seriously, that actually means he can't even handle one glass of beer without feeling light-headed. So he's everything but that. He was never seen smoking either. The only thing you'd call out on him being unhealthy would probably be his weight and his imbalanced diet (Wario World instruction booklet weighs him at 308 pounds although that might just be a random number thrown about and for what we know, he's actually incredibly muscled regardless of how fat he is and surprisingly agile despite his weight).

I played 4 as a kid and loved Wario ever since. I recently played through 1 and 2 but gave up on 3 real early. Not having all of Wario's abilities from the start was really fustrating and I just got stuck on a level with no idea what to do. I haven't played any 'metroid-vania' type games (other than recently playing and enjoying Shantae and the Pirate's Curse) but I felt it didn't suit the Wario Land series at all.Am I a shitter?
