PC versions of games are almost always superior to the console versions, unless the developer is shitty at optimizing it for PC.
Shooters play much better on PC because K&M versus controller.
But the average "gamer" just wants to play a video game, and doesn't care about performance unless it's absolutely unplayable on a console. PC mustards are salty about the fact that they paid $1000 just to see grass sway more realistically on their poorly optimized ports in between shitposting, playing indies that can run on potatoes, and playing TF2.

Because aiming with a control stick is objectively bad (console shooters across the board have aim assistance, and even then you look like you're playing a tank simulator, zero fluidity).
Consoles are a great, efficient way to do some types of games (like platformers or fighters, racers too). Shooters suck dick on them, though.

On the Elite I always have 8 fingers active
on a keyboard, 3 fingers are tied to movement, if i need to activate some ability I need to use one or more fingers that is used for WASD movement
Thus, using abilities impairs my movement, this is never a problem in an Elite controller
KB/M is trash compared to Elite
Also the mouse.... when you track an enemy you need to swipe it and then lift it and put it back in a center position so you can continue to swipe it to track enemies.
so if you need to use an ability while you are tracking an enemy, you can find yourself stalling completely since you need to reset the mouse position while you release the WASD key

Most PC fags don't care or hate console shooters, we just laugh at how you console babbies try to justify it and thinking you have and it takes skill, while at the same time using auto aim to help you with the aiming (lol body shots).
They already made cross platform FPS games and even average or below average m&k users destroyed the "pro" console players.
You can't input that fast reaction on a shitty controller, it's good for a fighting game or driving and the sort, or button smashers, but not FPS.
Most modern FPS are so brain dead because the majority of players are casual console fags and they have to appeal to that demographic.
Check out Quake or Unreal Tournament PVP versus Halo or CoD, you'll understand why console will never be able to compete with the PC in the FPS realm.

To be honest the first shooter game I played on console was RE4 and it was a blast, the laser aiming is great with the left stick.
Then I tried to play RE5 with kb+m and it didn't feel as awesome as RE4, had to buy a controller to play it.
However things changed when I played other shooter that allow me to move while shooting, it's just weird with the left stick to move and right stick to aim, the combination is so bad compares to kb+m. Even with aim-assist I just can't get the crosshair right in the place I want.
