I liked the feathery look and the fist moveset was fucking badass, in dark souls 2 its shitty armor and in 3 its a goat demon with a recolored hollow body. All of its abilities are fucking worthless in 2 and 3 as well, when flame was godlike early game in 1 and the damage buff was fantastic.

I'm really pushing myself to git gud with dragon in 3, but it is a struggle. Normal torso stone is the only one I keep on my bar (good buff and good shield punish). Hyperframing with big weapons is too punishing to your healthbar (unless you manage a oneshot), so ive turned to pikes and daggers for zoning and speed.
