The issue with Penny Arcade tends to lean toward the same answer more often then not, though. They became dads, and they stopped playing video games. But even worse, is that they assert that they DO play video games. It seems very much like they start a lot of different games throughout the year, play about 3 hours at most, and then drop them for something else newer.
Their First 15 videos seem most indicative of that, at least. Apparently, they made a huge deal out of trying to "navigate the main menu of Street Fighter V". It also took them 15 minutes for them to realize that Earth Defense Force had multiple classes.
They're fucking dense dads that don't know how video games work anymore. We'll all probably become them someday.
