You're not wrong. Lots of enemies and bosses in Bloodborne are very fast and flailing, meaning you get hit more often due to no fault of your own. The rally system was created specifically to allow that kind of enemy design. Damage in Bloodborne is just less preventable than Dark Souls. At the same time, having access to 20 blood vials right from the start makes that damage so much less punishing.It's still my favorite in the series though.
Does anybody hear the final fantasy music (dont know which one) when the first guy who shots you, after you take the elevator in Oedon's Chapel, shouts at you: "you plague ridden rat"?
