in nu-doom. the only hitscan enemies must powerup their attack and hit in an arc, thus telegraphing their attack, but they do massive damage if it connect. in serious same (yes, i wrote it intentionally) they just devastate your health by looking at you. it is manageable, yes. but you have to HIDE behind something be it walls or enemies that you must kill. so you have no way to go around when any of them appear on screen, always have to target them first with whatever hitscan weapon you have or an 1 hit one.

i played all of them but didnt even finish one. I can turn down the difficulty whenever i wanted or play coop but i dont because it will be the same boring tedious shit where you kill a bazillion hitscans/bulls/kamikaze/harpies/... in that order but you dish out more dps compare to the enemies.
