Do you mean general things like grass and rocks? God of War 2 is a straight rip from God of War 1, I mean games don't have to be completely remade to be considered good.

The shitty time gimmick of Majora's mask makes the game infinitely worse.
OoT. MM doesn't have as a good a story and is linear. Combat-wise, they're about equal, except the final boss in Majora's Mask which blows everything in OoT out of the water.
Even if Majora's Mask had as good a story and was more nonlinear, it would still not be as good, because those things would make it worse (for instance if you could Mikau's mask right away then half the game becomes too easy); while they are OOT's strength.
There is no topping OoT. It's a once in a millenia game.

OoT is infintely better. When MM first released it was a huge disappointment to me. It's still one of the worst games in the series, imo.
