That's my favorite thing about it. The 999 twist literally couldn't have worked in any other medium, and I'd say it was even unique to the hardware it was on. You could still do the game well enough on a different platform, but the dual screen thing was utilized so well.

ZTD's main gimmick is that scenes are played in a shuffled and scattered order, which is justified in-game due to a memory-erasing drug that they are injected with every 90 minutes.
