Do you need an expensive mouse for gayming?
>>
>>337547895
if you're asking this, you're not in need of one.
>>
>>337547895
If a g400 is "expensive" compared to your current one, maybe.

Any mouse with no mouse accel and at least 500hz polling rate (refresh rate) is fine

This.
I've got this one, the sensor is pretty good for fps.
>>
The only time I'd get a mouse with multiple buttons is if I ever played an mmo again. Other than that with an fps there are not enough abilities to necessitate it and with all other games they would be single player to which I wouldn't need to respond as quickly to where it would help or just
>>
>>337551671
I've had that one for a couple years already, except for the shitty coating under my thumb it works pretty great, especially for its price.
>>
>>337551859
i assign slide/crouch to my thumb buttons, makes it very smooth transitioning while keeping wasd keys covered

Anon, are you living off of food stamps?
>>
>>337551859

>>
>>337547895
I don't need one... unless I want to tryhard with macros and shit fucking xornet useless piece of shit
>>
>>337547895
No. Zowie are cheap as fuck with no dumb gaming gimmicks attached.
>>
>>337551964
Many if not most mice come with a few buttons already, I don't need 15 extra buttons and as such I won't pay for 15 extra buttons

No, just adjustable DPI and those are around 10 bucks entry price, everything else is just coating to make it look shinny for stupid people

Got gifted a cheap one around two years ago and I do awesome in FPS/mobas (yeah mobas, suck it) it hasn't malfunctioned and is well made, pic related

thinking that sensors don't make a difference may be just inexperience, but this is plain stupid.
>>
>>337552129
I don't think I could function anymore without back/forward thumb buttons on my mouse.
>>
>>337552292
HONEST QUESTION
Is 90 dollars considered expensive for a mouse with extra buttons?
>>
>>337547895

No, you don't. A mouse is an incredibly basic implement

>muh dpi
>muh ergonomics
>muh tracking

Literally any optical desk mouse is fine, the entire "gaming mouse" market exists because of memelords
>>
It's not so much about gaming mouses as it is about a comfortable mouse whose features are properly listed.

I bought a G400s for the dpi, shape (though next time I'm going for something with bigger booty), extra buttons (some cheap mouses look like they have extra buttons but they either do nothing or are alternate mouse1+2), & the fact that it doesn't go into sleep mode if I don't move it for 3 seconds.

Plus the material used makes it feel nice & new even now after having it for nearly 2 years, & the fact that it's popular means that if something in it breaks then chances are I'll find a video explaining how to fix it.

>>
>>337552292
It didn't used to be 90 bucks right?

Its just that expensive because it isn't being made anymore
>>
>>337551212

What's a good quality mouse with price around 50€ or so with at least two side buttons?
My old random logitech one crapped out and my laptops wireless mouse is not cutting it.

My G400s dies so I got one of these and honestly I wish I just got another G400s
>>
>>337547895
They don't make g400s's anymore right?
They were discontinued some time ago IIRC.
>>
>>337555530
preach it, familia.

the ec1-a is the best mouse out right now. Doesn't force your hand into any awkward positions like the logitech mice and the like, got 10/10 sidebuttons and the dpi switch is underneath the mouse.
the only issue it has for me, is that the mousewheel has a different color for each dpi setting.
>>
>>337547895
Does anybody have experience with the g400?
My g500 died recently and I need a new one. I would buy the same again, but I can't find one that's not ridiculously overpriced.
Any recommendations which mouse I could buy that similar to the g500?
>>
>>337555618
>getting razershit
>ever
We shit on it not just because it's "GAMURR GEAR" you know.
>>
>>337555847
That's really the only minor setback, I don't care much for the lighting so it doesn't bother me that much. The only real complaint I would have is that I don't like the feel of the mouse wheel when scrolling. Other than that the shape, clicks and tracking of the mouse are 10/10.
