Seriously, /v/, tell me true. Is there a better pirate game?
Black flag
dat sea chanties.
>>337545521
Would be, but I cannot ignore the Assassin bullshit. If only Ubisoft dumped all that baggage and went all in on a pirate game.
>>73952490
the sea dogs series by akella some of the games suck and its More confusing since they all have different names in different regions
>>337545652
They are NEVER going to give up that bullshit modern age storyline. Fucking prideful dicks
>>337545870
Its not even the modern day stuff, its the fact that the game is bogged down in Assassins Creed's bloated story and retarded universe.
>>337545335
Sea dogs 2 is close. But Pirates! is my favorite.
Age of Pirates 2
>>337546025
Your mean Pirates of the Caribbean?
>>337545335
Nope.
>>337546025
>>337546161
same game
>>337546074
this is the sequel
>>337546074
Pirates: Eurojank
>>337546074
I've been looking for that fucking game everywhere. You know who might have it?
Monkey Island :^)
>>337546387
Age of Pirates 2 City of Abandoned Ships-RELOADED
>>337546161
Yes.
>>337546487
>Age of Pirates 2 City of Abandoned Ships-RELOADED
What the reloaded part mean?
>>337546387

>>337546572
That its f2p
>>337546572
It's extra brutal.
Extra action.
Extra...EXXXTRA
>>337546704
pottery
Puzzle Pirates
:^)
>Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned will NEVER BE MADE
Will it be good?
>>337545652
Unskippable assassin/templar shit fucking ruins that game.
>>337546387
Sea Dogs: To Each His Own, the sequel to Age of Pirates 2, costs 11€ on Steam. I have it but I dunno how good it is since my wife is the one who played it, but I assume it's p. good since she loves these games.
Man o war is pirates! type game coming out, I hear it's sparse in its content and when boarding or being boarded all you can do is shoot to defend yourself.
>>337545335
Original pirates in c64 is the best game of the 80s.
>>337547591
what about your wife's son? What did he say?
>>337547336
>multiplayer
>cartoon pirates
non
>>337547591
How open is it?
>>337548554
It's just as open, but there are timed quests so you have to keep that in mind.
>>337545335
It's such a massivly underrepresented theme. This game and Black Flag are the only two pirate games i've truly enjoyed over the years, and as much as I want to praise Black flag it's still scarred by the inclusion of all that ass creed bullshit. if only it was just a stand alone pirate game.
>>337546074
>>337546025
ok i'm interested. should i start with sea dogs or just jump into the most recent one? is there a continuing story?
>>337545521
>>337545652
>>337545870
>>337546015
>>337548885
>SAILING ON THE HIGH SEAS
>SHIP CUSTOMIZATION
>LOOTING, SINKING, BOARDING
>SWINGING FROM THE FUCKING YARDARMS
>FIGHTING LEGENDARY SHIPS
>RAMMERS
>CLIPPERS
>FORT SIEGES
>INCREDIBLE SHANTIES
>BRACING AGAINST BLOWS
>LINING UP BROADSIDES
>HEADING TO MEET THE WAVES
>STORM CRASHING ALL AROUND YOU AS YOUR CREW STRUGGLES TO KEEP THE SHIP AFLOAT
>okay now follow this guy at a precise distance for 5 minutes while he talks about templars
Why
>>337545335
I'm being a cheeky cunt on purpose.
Fun game though.
>>337545335
Is this the game where the only difference between an average women and a beautiful women is the bust size?
>>337549396
Legendary ships were bullshit, they were literally magic.
>>337549596
no, that's real life
>>337549596
maybe if you're 12
You are a pirate.
Yar har.
>people unironically consider black flag a good pirate themed game
Disgusting
>>337549596
No, it isn't, its the game where the difference between average and beautiful is how much cleavage they're showing.
>dat hot dutch daughter
when the fuck is Mount and Blade Caribbean! gonna git gud?
>>337548238
I support this opinion just because I'm an oldfag and my imagination was WAY better when I had pixels the size of a human head.
The PC version felt more of a Disney's arcade.
>>337550535
I thought the devs abandoned that shit years ago
Or was that the vikings one
Not that I've played.
And I played Pirates of the Caribbean on the xbox huge
who beat swashbuckler
I went looking for examples and found this
>>337550613
They changed the name to Blood and Gold: Caribbean! which is the same game, essentially. It does seem quite abandoned, though.
>>337550627
that the hardest difficulty? I don't see how its possible
its like capturing a SOL
>>337551057
It's possible m8y
Let me load up my save, I know I at least beat Montalban on it, everything past that is a cakewalk.
Segments inSly 3were pretty comfy.
I played the original sea dogs for about 70 hrs
