Vice city is the best. Added bikes and had the best style and music. San andreas is just vice city in a bigger map with some bothersome RPG shit added in. There's barely anything new in there, only fucking thing I can think of is tow trucks.
VC added new shit and had style. SA added nothing new and had no style. Vice city is the objectively superior entry in the series.

iv just keeps getting worse with age. I actually liked it at the time but HOLY SHIT I went back and played it the other day and it is awful. what were rockstar thinking? everything in that game is worse than V. even all the small things like player movement, shooting, camera angles. The animations are genuinely awful in IV too. Climbing, swimming, eveeything looks shit and stiff.
and I actually didn't mind the driving before V came out but going back to it now and it's a fucking disgrace. Literally have to almost stop entirely just to turn a corner.
and that's not even mentioning the graphics. Blue and orange blurry garbage. The one saving grace of GTA IV is rockstars recreation of NYC but even that is ruined by the graphics.

GTAO has its problems but IVMP wasn't any better. IV multiplayer got boring real fucking fast. Literally only 1 coop mission, no vehicle storage, no proper customization, no real character progression , no bounties, no missions... fucking NOTHING. "oh bbut you could make free roam and turn police off" so fucking what? free roam on GTAIV was fucking trash..There was NOTHING to do and everybody would just congregate at the airport. And unless you drove around the map picking up all the best weapons you would just get killed over and over again every time u spawned
