Having experienced the 80s, it's bizarre to see how it's being fetishized. While there certainly were plenty of purple/green/blue neon designs, grids and space backgrounds in certain parts of 80s pop culture, they've just exaggerated it to a point where it's become a parody.
Now I realize how people who grew up in the 60s and 70s must feel.

I dig the neo 80's artstyle and graphics, I like the synthwave soundtrack and general atmosphere of games like this but come on HOW THE FUCK am I supposed to play this more than 10 minutes and not get bored to death by the repetitive, dated as fuck gameplay?
