>>
Kikestarter based fully on their name recognition was failing hard so they shitcanned it till they have actual gameplay or a demo to show.
>>
It was postponed in order to kickstart it when they have a gameplay demo to show.
Not sure if there have been any update after that?

This seriously looks more trustworthy than anything that has ever been on scamstarter previously.

• listens to the community and creates a demo to show off the game
• the game has a dedicated producer to make sure everything is done on time and comes well together
• Unreal Engine 4 is used, so no engine swapping or content scrapping will happen
• Adrian Carmack knows how to get shit done and has been behind the art direction behind most of id's titles
• no DLCs or subscriptions, support for modding guaranteed
• realistic deadlines and amount of content delivered, no overpromise or overshooting the budget
• PC-first approach, so no corners will be cut to appease the console market
• complex movement mechanics confirmed: rocketjumping, strafejumping, bunny hopping, air strafing

I will be copypasting this until you all have sucked it down

Guys how about we just chill, and then develop an opinion after we see the gameplay vid

>movement exploits are mechanics

Replace rocket jumping with a jetpack, make rockets actually do enough damage to punish you for fuckups and kill shit when it hits.

You now have the same mechanical movement abilities and you didn't have to ruin a good gun to make it happen, E-spergs.

I might be in minority, but setting the game in virtual reality seems like stylistic mistake.
When people play shooters, they want to feel like they're shooting real things, not virtual programs. You can bet that bodies will fade into pixely blocks whenever enemies die, and you'll have them teleporting in with similarly forming effects.
Shooting things like that isn't fun, just like with game with most of enemies being robots. Wasn't there really cool looking PC-exclusive shooter few years back which received this exact criticism?

Do you want to secretly be Romero's son?

I do.

Then I might have a family that loves me.

Hard Reset maybe?
>>
>>337477728
Yeah, that was it. I'm sure they're going for virtual reality to do all kinds of crazy things with the setting, enemies and weapons, but I feel time-traveling would be better fit for that.

>>337472940
random mexican dude got shut down and btfo trying to scam people with a doom ripoff
>>
>>337478148
Haven't played the game myself, but as for the "virtual reality" concept as long as the gameplay doesn't feel floaty or too ungrounded as a consequence of too much freedom to manipulate the environment it should pass.
