Its ridiculously easy and the weapons feel like shit. What does a supposedly fast skill-based shooter gain from an upgrade system?

One thing about glory kills is it isn't required. But it quickens the flow of the game. Because enemies die more from a punch to the head than a shotgun to the back for some reason.

One thing TB didnt noticed at all is the mechanic revolves on how much health points you have. You get back more health points depending on the status of your health points. If you're low on health the the next few enemies you kill either with or without glory killing them gushes out around 40 health points to keep you fighting. But if you spam glory kills when you have around 60 or 70 points you only get back 3 health points. If you take down a higher rank than you get back somewhere between 10-20 health points back.

you're going to get destroyed if you glory kill an enemy in the middle of the fight. glory kills, at least on an actual difficulty, are just used to guarantee health drops, which can be as little as 5hp, and it causes you to stand still. any time you're standing still, you're probably dead. glory kills should only be used in desperate situations.
