What exactly is this /v/?
>>337470675
A reasonably fun casual take on the assfaggots formula marred by the f2p business model.
why did this fail where overwatch succeeded?
>>337470863
how is it casual though if there's currently a tournament on twitch right now.

>Better engine
>less populated field (not the fps part, but the tf2 class esque based one)
>tons of games in overall genre who are far worse in terms of quality
>decent polish out of the door

Pay2notgrind, and most people already committed to LoL/DotA 2. It may fails to reach blizzard's goal of taking a huge chunk out of the moba share but certainly not dead or anything.
>>337470675
Failed Blizzard attempt to be relevant again. They are desperate to be in the esport scene, they failed.
They are trying again with Shillerwatch, they will be popular 1 month max until they'll fail again.
The most comfy MOBA
No autistic mechanics like denying
No stupid boring mechanics like farming
Far more maps than your average MOBA, each one with slightly different objectives
The game is around teamfights

>neo-/v/ still conflating accessibility with depth
A game can be casual and still be played at a high level. Welcome to 4chan, btw.
>>337470675
boring cashgrab casual shit
>>337471576
It certainly is best for casual play.
>>337470675
By far the best hero brawler. This one actually tries to be fun instead of a sport.

>Fail
Everyone says that but
>Hasn't slowed down production
>Queue times are actually smaller than LoL
>No news of trouble at all outside doomsayers like the NINTENDO IS GONNA DIE IN 2006/2010/2016/2020! crowd.
>Constant patches
>>337471594
>Neo-/v/
Any time /v/ isn't hyped over a Smash game, they're shitposting about it like any of them beat the top 20 in tournaments on normal fighters.
>>337470675
>the least amount of players
>the least amount of skins
>but: Heroes/Skins cost the most of every moba
>also game is basically still in Beta
It's to little, to late. Even so they are trying. (see: Season 1)
>>337471594
but I've been here all summer from 2006

Pretty fun OP, especially with any non autist friends you may have.
Used to play dota2 but that game has some issues around community/game mechanics/le meta shifting balance method that make it unfun for me.
This game is lighter, games are way shorter, games have less assholes flaming, less butthurt feeders and other cancer, the heroes are far more tightly balanced than dotas cluster fuck mess, and the mechanics are focused around engagements between heroes/groups of heroes the entire game.

People are retards and fail to see that Blizzards still fairly immense playerbase mostly keeps to themselves in their all inclusive battle.net hugbox.
Diablo 3 and HotS aren't as relevant as WoW, SC2 and Hearthstone but they are far from dead and alot of Blizzdrones play them just to switch it up.
