DOOM is a great reboot of the series. No it isn't the same as the old games, that's the point. If you enjoy it for what it is you'll see its a really fun game. If you keep comparing it to a DOS game from thirty years ago you will remain salty.
Not hating on the original Doom which is a great game, one of the best ever, but /v/ needs to realize that "reboot" doesn't mean "rehash", quite the opposite actually.
