When I was ~13-14, I played Yohoho! Puzzle pirates. Amazing online game, loved it. Had a great time there. One of my first online friend in Yohoho Puzzle Pirates was an American kid slightly older than me that I spent a lot of time chatting with. It only dawned on me later how horrible he was. Years ago when I used to play FFXIV, I was in a guild that was run by absolute circlejerking bitches, as in they'd pretend to be nice and care about others in the guild but really all that mattered was their inner circle. They were surrounded by beta orbiters and generally liked to start drama and treat the game like social media so I GTFO.
