I have no fucking clue, I only picked this game up recently.
>>337436007
If you don't put the cheap stuff out on the shelves, people won't ask to buy it.
Also window spots help a lot, but I've gone days before anyone has picked up anything I have there.
The RNG in this game is a little bit too harsh.

On a side note this little girl is a cheap cunt.

COMBO COMBO COMBO

When you level up, your customers level up, and they can afford to buy more things. I beat the game by selling things only at 107% because of COMBOs. That Jew Loli come to ruin your combo? Grit your teeth and combo through her, eventually you'll meet the real jew later in the game.
>>
>>337435578
>>337436007
How often do you go dungeon crawling? Also, it's important to have a wide selection of shit, and fusion items sell for a breddy good price. Another key thing is to not always jew people unless it's during a time where prices get inflated, then it's safe to go like 300% above base price. Always try to get near the pin value, they'll appreciate it, your chain goes up, and if the customers like you enough their wallets expand.
Lastly, it's ok to fail, you'll just rewind back to the second week I think with your level/items intact.
>>
>>337436468
I go dungeon crawling whenever I don't have anything good to sell.
I hadn't heard anything about the customer combo system.
>>
>>337436468
I went dungeon crawling about three or four times in the entire game and finished it just by reselling stuff and buying treasures when they were low. The treasure market crashed twice but I managed to do it alright.
>>
>>337435578
What the fuck OP are you some kind of casual? It's easy as fuck to get millions of pix even during the 2 weeks time limit in the demo. You just need to get gud and figure out how to combo chain your customers. Stick to 103% or 101% for the little girl. Don't do dungeons. Just buy and sell things from the merchant guild.

If you're good enough, you can make millions AND get Charme from the 2nd dungeon by the end of the 2nd week.
>>
>game outright lies to you that you should sell your items at 15%

after all these years, i still don't know why they would do this
>>
>>337436675
then that is your problem, you get more EXP from getting consecutive sales, and not breaking the chain, same goes for buying stuff too though, so sometimes you get shafted by someone trying to sell you garbage
>>
>>337436978
I really like Charme, but Louie just has better range

>>
>>337437212
Louie is a slow fucker.
It takes probably twice the time to clear something with him as it does with Charme.
>>
>>337437289
well i would hope so, she does get the ability to dash while he doesn't, though louie does get the ability to block projectiles with his shield.

Louie is a pretty average guy, Charme is the 'fuck wasting time' character.
>>
Everyone has their own gripes with Recettear, but mine is one not often chanted in these threads:

I never managed to git gud at the dungeon shit.

Honestly, I'd rather just pick a hero and pay him/her to go do the best they can in the dungeon for me.

It'd be a much better game had they focused all their efforts on the shop-element of the game and not half their resources on crappy dungeon-crawling.

I know it's not a popular opinion though.
>>
>>337437831
I like the progression you have with unlocking the different adventurers and such, but it's definitely not the strongest part of the game.
>>
>>337438040

Yeah, I too enjoyed the progression. But honestly, this could have used a streamlining.

You shouldn't have to play a dungeon crawler in what should be a capitalism-simulator.

Again, I'd have preferere if you just hired 2 or 3 heroes, sent them to a dungeon and sold the spoils.

A different way of doing it could perhaps be hiring the hero, giving him/her instructions and then literally following him around, collecting items, as you went.

>>337437093
>>
>>337438362
I don't think they should have gotten rid of it, sure they could have and made a perfectly fine game, but I like being able to take a break from one or the other sections to do something different.
I just wish the dungeon portions weren't so dull.
>>
>sell at 105%
>buy at 70%

>>
>>337436007
Play the long con m8, it might be tempting to jew every shekel from your customers but if you level them up by selling low you'll be swimming in pix.
>>
>>337438362
As someone who has an unreasonable amount of hours in this game, I have to say the dungeon crawling is really the end game. The capitalism portion and survival mode are fun, but eventually you just get so much money it doesn't matter anymore. Trying to get all the max level +15 gear for a character and doing Crystal Nightmare boss rushes are what really makes the game enjoyable for so long.
>>
Just pins and combos ruined the game, making risky jewery and dungeon delving pointless
>>
I want to finis Reccetear someday.
I'm a short way before I get the demon dude to join me.

Should I start over? Continuing old ass saves is a pain.
>>
>>337438374
Get Tielle or Nagi first so you can blow through all the dungeons as fast as possible so you can get Griff on second playthrough. Griff requiring to unlock and then run more dungeons with can be a pain. Arma you get from Endless mode dungeon competion. After that go for whoever.
>>
>>337435578
I pirated this and played through once.
It was easy as fuck... Just always get the highest value items that the old man sells you and you're good to go...
>>
>no reason to charge over 105-107%

It's fun, but flawed. Just like Fortune Summoners.

What does this imply? I'm extremely curious because I feel like I see people type like this on gamefaqs and other non-4chan places the most and I have no idea how I'm supposed to read it.

It's supposed to be a pause. You see it in fiction all the time, but people that use it online tend to try to act more like anime characters or they think it's supposed to be insulting or something.

Fortune Summoners has the problem of running on the novelty of playing as a cute girl on adventures but once it wears off the gameplay becomes too much of a drag.

I found its combat fun until the very end, even though it does gets easier as it goes on.
The only things that bothered me are the backtracking and that there will be no sequel.

LITTLE GIRL GIVE GUN.
GIVE GUN YOU DEVIL. OR I PUT YOUR FAMILY IN WOK.
>>
This game is old as fuck and still the complaints are always the same
>>
Ok, imma write a guide for you retards so you csn finally enjoy the best game ever made.
First of all what you want to do is get to merchant level 14 so you can craft some items to sell.
You do that by making combos (selling something without having to haggle once) which start stacking extremely high and give you tons of xp.
Here's the haggling prices
Adult man 125% or less
Guildmaster 125% or less
Woman 118% or less
Little jew girl 113% or less
Old man 118% or less
Snotty rich brat up to 150%
2nd jew fairy less than 103%
Adventurers 115% or less
Now what you eant to do ot run the first dungeon over and over and kill all the goblins. You're looking for two types of items, an inkwell and a lizard on a skewer.
Once you get enough of those go to the market, buy the other fusion ingredients and go to the guildmaster to do some fusing.
Repeat until your debt is paid.

ProTip: Once you've made over 100,000 pix, never go to the Town Square in the day time until you've paid off your debt, this will keep the Scam Artist from popping up in your store.
