Os I finally Decided to finally get Dark soul 1 on pc.
I've beaten Demon Souls and started a little of Dark souls 2, but never got around to playing it.
Holy crap, it's a great game, I Just killed the lord of the crypt and I'm tackling Seath the Scaleless in the Crystal cave and It's the most fun I've had in a while.

Go to has been the glorious Greatsword for all three Souls, but it was sexiest in Dark Souls in it's thinner form.

Was playing my first playthrough and was loving it, but I've put the game down for a while now after I got cursed in the depths on my way to blighttown. Didn't even know those frog shits were a legit threat...
I vaguely remember the witch woman on the way to the depths selling something related to curses, does she have something to remove it?
Favourite weapon so far is black knight halberd- always loved halberds/naginatas and it feels pretty strong.

Go to New Londo and make it to Ingward past all the angry ghosts, who will remove the curse at the cost of a humanity or sell you the spell to do it yourself in case you plan on getting cursed again in the future. You can also just buy purging stones from the female undead merchant in the waterway for 5k a pop or from the pardoner on the bell tower for 3k.

I actually liked the depths boss with curse on because I thought I was going to be semi permanent.
But on my way back to the fire link shrine, I looked at the female sewer merchants stock, abd lo and behold, purging stone.
I also carried 3 on my from that point on
I'm in a weird minority where I like DAS1 the least and after 3 I don't think I can ever go back. Faith, which became my favorite build, is shit in 1 and honestly the majority of bossed are not great and I think all the sequels with dlc outdo the first game.

>group of 3 hollows attack me with another trying to Gank
>try to get rid of some faggots throwing firebombs
>that shit tracks me mid-air and I get stun locked and die
> fight through and kill the boss
>run into some spear hollow on a ledge that just fucking stands there with his shield up like an asshole

>there's some asshole trying to bait me to chase him

>keep fighting through ganks

Y'know most people's rankings are based on which game they played first. Those of us who claim Demon's Souls is the best in the series do so because it was our first experience with this formula. Your tough guy act means shit when you played SOTFS before Dark Souls.

I honestly think Dark 1 does nothing better than both its predecessors or it sequels. The only thing it objectively does better it interlink wold and it without always on invasions ( I mean after a bos i shod be open to I'm vasion with all the backtracking). Honestly outside of the completely interlocked word dark souls 1 7s not great. Shitty end gsme. Poise killed pvp (and yes as someone who runs a regen faith build for arena) I so like 3'a pvp better
