I eitehr play mercy, this guy or Lucio, He is great fun and his healing and discord orbs come in handy and the ult has saved us several games.

I already play Dhalsim in one game, I'd rather play Birdie in this game.
He should be able to send out more than one healing orb, like maybe lower his orbs from 20 to 10 and that's how many can be used for healing, discord and attacking (but still only 1 discord orb though). And the healing orbs can be spread through multiple teammates or mostly on the same person.
I like how he is now, but for offensive purposes. He's kind of a failure of a support with his 1 dinky little orb that heals like 6 health per second, and an ultimate that requires everyone to be huddled up to be healed (and Zenyatta can still be pulled away by Roadhog and pushed).

Zenyatta's heals are 30 HP/s, meanwhile Mercy's are 50 HP/s and Lucio's are 12.5 HP/s, 40 HP/s when amped.
Additionally his Discord debuff is +50% damage taken while Mercy's damage buff is +30% damage.

I love how Zenyatta's ult is a self uber that heals everyone around you for massive ammount. It's the quick fix done right. In fact, he feels a lot more like the medic than mercy.

Blizzard needs to give him a health buff. You can't be made of paper in this game unless you're like tracer and never get hit.

Almost everyone has 76's damage output anyway. Mei can 2 shot everyone but bastion and the tanks without any prior setup at medium range and widowmaker is a better 76 that has a sniper rifle instead of atrociously long cooldown rockets with low splash.

She doesn't have his survivability and self-maintenance though. That's the point, 76 is a bit of everything but not quite as good as anyone else is at their particular fields. So he has a bit of AoE healing, a bit of splash damage, a bit of mobility with his sprint. 76's hat isn't necessarily damage output, but more ease of inflicting consistent damage and utility

Depends if one's operating from a presumption that one's team is playing on a perfect level, which, let's admit, is not that common. That's why I mention ease of use as one of his strong points, if we operate from the presumption that every projectile is going to hit every target then one could raise the point that Junkrat outclasses both 76 and Widowmaker because he has not only fantastic damage output and mobility but also AoE on top of it. But that doesn't mean your average or even moderately high level Junkrat player can bomb Pharahs out of the sky mid-movement like a goddamn flak cannon
