I expect it to be pretty decent. I haven't watched any videos/play throughs/streams. This is the 2nd game I've paid for this year and I did so because I still believe Carmack deserves a chance.

It doesn't matter for either. I'm watching astreamerunpack the game with his 4790k and it took him 45 minutes and only used 20% disk usage and cpu usage. It just seems to only use one core to unpack and encrypt.

Nah m8. Well as I was typing this I also just realized my HDD is maxed out so theres the bottleneck. However it is using more than one core.
Think it's finally time to get a nice 1T SSD, my 500gb is clogged up and had to install this to my 3T drive which is old as and slow as fuck.

Not all SSDs are the same. Especially the bigger ones. Only intel and Samsung have good enough nand to support high capacity storage while maintaining fast read/write. If it's sanddisk, or mushkin or any other off brand chinese shit it'll be just as fast as a HDD.
I wonder how CPU intensive this game will be. I meet the minimum and recommended requirements for everything but my CPU but I've played several games where I didn't meet the minimum and still got 60fps on mid-high settings so I don't know.
