why aren't you playing the best version of tf2 right now?
>>337421460
Is anyone?
>>337421460
You may be right... I guess I may have to buy a xbox
>Xbox TF2 has literally had 4 patches over it's lifespan
>they were all bug fix updates over the course of 3 years
>paying online fees to play TF2 with controller
>>337421754
That's the point. Vanilla tf2
>it's the "free content updates ruined the game" meme.
>>337421460
i really really wish they make a similar package to this
half life 3
portal 3
tf3
>NEVER HAPPENING
>>337421460
>2 years of the best map in the game being Dustbowl
I couldn't take it anymore, it's what pushed me to start PC gaming
>it's 9 fucking years old

>>337421460
I used to play it a lot on Xbox 360, and with a big group of friends. I haven't touched it in about a year though because no gold and my controller broke. Built a PC and mainly play on that now. Some might recognize me, was named "Jukebox360x"
TF2 on Xbox was kind of a gem though and would still be fun to play today. It was just really comfy.

>tfw all the glitches still work
>tfw glitching behind the rocks on the last point of the second round on dustbowl
> tfw stack 5 sentries back there that can shoot at others but can't be shot at
>tfw we were unstoppable
>tfw I had some of the best memories in that game
>joystick acceleration
nah
>>337421460
That's not the best version you liar.
>>337422295
>Four fucking patches
>One of them was only done to kill importing maps from other games
>>337422295
>>tfw glitching behind the rocks on the last point of the second round on dustbowl
>> tfw stack 5 sentries back there that can shoot at others
the memories are all coming back to me. Even though it was the most broken shit in the game, we still had fun
>>337421460
Played the shit of this version. Even played the game competitively with some friends and recorded all my matches, and lost all the videos thanks to fucking youtube management system.
>>337422573
>competitive TF2
>>337422573
>Competitive 360 TF2
>>337422846
Please tell me how it can't be competitive.
>>337422295
>exploring the skybox in Hydro
>tele-trapping friendlies behind the barbed fence in Dustbowl Round 1 point 2
>hackers spawning props and turning ctf 2fort into Forge mode
The best.
>>337423173
>People somehow setting up Nova Prospekt as a playable map
There were fucking wizards playing that game I tell you what
>>337423252
I never got to play that, but I'm imagining that it was cool as fuck. Did any hl2 props work?
>>337422485
>>337422513
>those skywalking glitches
>those running taunts
>those modders that would strap a sentry to your back and let your run around deleting people
Aside from the modders, most of the glitches weren't game breaking. A lot of them could be easily countered if you had a decent team. They added a little flavor to the otherwise stale vanilla tf2
>>337423347
I think there were some planks with physics but that was about it
There were also control points that were jury rigged into launch-pads
>>337423347
>>337423501
I played on a server that had full blown payload running. It was amazing. I think it was a small group of 2-3 people that worked on a lot of it.
>Those mods
>That dogged community that wouldn't let it die
>Those 2fort slugfests
It may have been a relic, but it sure was a fun relic.
