one thing I will say for this series they did a really good job of steadily improving on the battle system over each installment. yes, even 4 actually added some great improvements to the battle system.

BN3 is the most balanced and competitive
BN6 is the most fun and everything is broken and vs matches end up being more like slugfests and throwing everything you got at each other
