Personally, I think Perturbator's stuff goes great with Shadowrun (for obvious reasons) and XCOM (though there's no replacing that Michael McCann touch).Also Left 4 Dead 2 is pretty fucking fun when all you can hear is synth and zombie screams. But don't tell /v/, they'll get mad.

It has been pretty good so far, and Hotline Miami memes aside was the kickstart itand Perturbatorneeded to become more widespread. Some people end copying themselves too much they sound the same all the time, which is why I don't listen to Trevor Something, Dead Astronauts, Electric Youth. Perturbator, although being the most whored out of the top-tier bunch isn't a bad composer at all and brings new stuff to his recipes, it's the same with DWTD, Mega Drive, Dan Terminus, Carpenter Brut, Lazerhawk, GosT, etc. It isn't that repetitive nowadays but I noticed that newer albums follow the trend of getting darker or slighty heavier overall than previous ones (Lazer's Skull and Shark is an example even when it's already 3 years old), so I only hope this subgenre keeps delivering for a while instead ofliving fast and dying young.
