It is neither tactical, it doesn't have satisfying gunplay, Red Orchestra 2, Rising Storm, Squad and even Arma 3 are better than this
It's pretty good. It's like Arma andCounter Strikecombined.
You know, you wanna play Arma but you don't want to lay in the grass for 4 hours, shooting an enemy for 30 minutes you can't see
But at the same time, you don't want casual gameplay and kids.
Then you combine those two and you get a perfect game.

its different from cod maps
some insurgency maps usually have way more open space and has lots of strategic points for sniping and MG positions. in cod its usually run and shoot with the average lifespan of 10 seconds

I will admit I normally only do closed PvP matches with friends and Co-Op matches against the bots though, the online community is some-what cancerous.
