Should I go back and emulate paper mario/ TTYD
I got to the final boss of TTYD but at the time I was to stupid to actually finish the game, I don't remember where I got to in paper mario.

Super Mario RPG was probably the most "RPG" of all. PM64 was quality, and TTYD kept up the tradition. Super Paper Mario was a good game on its own, but it was a weird shift from the series. Sticker Star never happened.
Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario tied.
Super Paper Mario was a nice idea, but poorly executed. TTYD was okay, but the excessive dialogue and backtracking really hurt the game. Superstar Saga had many of the same issues as TTYD. Haven't tried any of the others yet.

i really like Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
The action commands were fun and it made good use of both of the screens.

Dream Team for overall highest quality and music
Super Mario RPG is fantastic as well and did better with new characters

Same. I really enjoyed the first 3 M&L games, but... I don't know, something about Paper Mario makes me love it. So sad both it and M&L have been shat on.

I just can't stand the baby version characters. Lowers the enjoyability of PIT for me.
I probably should have put DT over PJ though, you're right.
The original Paper Mario for me, though SSS, TTYD, and BiS hold a special place in my heart.
I respect SMRPG and I like SPM for different reasons altogether than the RPG's. Rest I don't like.
