Not at all I cant handle any part of the screen being obstructed. Extending the screen past the buttons to be covered by your hands made it so I would never ever use it.

Nintendo is transferring all their efforts to attract the casual crowd to Nintendo hardware on their mobile apps, the actual hardware is targeted at actual hardcore gamers, reportedly by Iwata and Kimishima.
