Halo 5 is around the same as the rest.
The story is fucking terrible. On par with 4's. The level design is much improved though, there's some neat areas.
Multiplayer is decent, back to even Pistol/AR starts. But there's no split-screen and half the maps look the same.

Eh, it was good in my opinion. There was a few shitty generic tracks, but a lot of it was really nice.
The problems with halo 5 are as follows:
God awful story
No fucking split-screen
No BTB maps
Arena maps are too similar
Shitty art direction in a lot of areas
Was missing a lot of modes and features. The game just got updated today and it's the first time I'd call it a "complete" halo game.
However, there are some good parts.
Forge is fucking amazing. Best user-created content tool in any console game, ever.
Gameplay is pretty balanced. No weapon is outright bad, each has a use.
No more perks, classes, killstreaks, or any of that garbage. It's back to classic Even starts. Map knowledge, power weapons, etc.
I'd give it a 6/10, maybe 7/10, when you consider all the crazy customs and Forge maps that can be played.
