Bloodborne`s atmosphere felt very vile, forbidden, horror like and alien whilst Dark Souls is Despair, tragic and Desolation.
Still think Demon Souls felt more.... unique in some way tho from the other two entries (even if neither of them were in ANY way bad and still very unique in their own way).
Unfortunately it seems From will stop making more Souls game (or so i hear) so i guess Demon Souls 2 will stay a distant dream.

This is true. Even in the cases where slight improvements are made it's not the leap that it should be.
DS3 came out 5 or so years after DS1 it should be a huge improvement but it's more of a sidegrade. If it was a new ip there's like an 85% chance it would be way better.

The problem with the sequels is they take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. DeS had perfect pacing and level design. DaS fucked that up a bit but improved combat and had a cool interconnected world. DaS 2 greatly improved combat and controls but introduced a ton of problems and level design took a shit. DaS 3 fucked up poise, faith, MLGS, the purpose of mimics, dual wielding, and still no interconnected world.
Hopefully the ps3 emulator gets better in a few years, I just can't bear to see all those jaggies in des any more.
