I just got this today. It's fun but I really want to get the mechs in the instruction, but I keep dying as the air raider who I assume is the only one who can call them in.
Lancer is amazing though. I just did the mission where you and a bunch of dudes shoot those big walkers coming out of the ocean with it.
I'm playing 2025 and I'm convinced that Rule of God is near impossible to get. I grind Golden Darkness on inferno and get weapons I already have.

Play through as a ranger first and make sure you can solo some of the missions on harder. Then play multiplayer and have the second controller play as Air Raider. Then you can clear the enemies out as the ranger and switch to air raider to pick up the drops.

Threadly reminder to check out Zangeki No Reginleiv if you have a Wii or Dolphin (preferably with a dolphinbar). It's basically EDF but Norse mythology and has the best motion controls on the console by far. Easily my 2nd favorite EDF game behind 2025/4.1

EDF is a pretty garbage series.
These niggers make money with the least amount of effort put into any game I've ever seen.
Copy and paste enemies that can spam attacks without any sort of planned enemy placement or room for the player to really maneuver around over the same 4-5 maps multiple times and the only difficulty comes from how much armor you've been able to grind up to and keep playing repetitive missions over and over and over in hopes for a good weapon.
I swear these devs don't do their own fucking math. Level 50 weapons can somehow be better than level 60 weapons by DPS, reload speed and range? What the fuck, why?
It's literally the Michael Bay of video games in terms of depth and actual shallow entertainment value it has. Wouldn't even be surprised if EDF fags buy the yearly CoD release.
Just imagine if there were a million koopa shells always going left and right on every platform in every level of Super Mario Bros. Shit wouldn't be fun, it'd be irritating.
Imagine if you multiplied all the enemies in Dark Souls by X1000 in every area and all of them could do combos repeatedly. You'll have a shit ton of health to take the damage, but you'll still be chipping away at them slowly and this is somehow "fun".

Two and they are both localized. They're remakes of the first and second games, as well.Two (Invaders from Planet Space) is better in all aspects, but the fact that they took away your meatshield AI buddies really takes away from the Starship Troopers atmosphere.
