All these years later and it has yet to be surpassed. Stellaris will be forgotten in six months.
>implying /v/ knows this game
thats not Star Control II
>>337344436
How fucking hard is it to make a game with a ship designer that is as much fun as in MoO2?
It's been what, 20 years now?
>>337344945
that's not even a 4X you dumb shit
>>337345059
It's better than any 4x autism shit anyway
>>337345167
think you're a big guy saying this kind of shit?
>>337344436
Being telepathic was the shit! Get big ships, mnd control entire planets.
>>337344436
Do you hate video games OP?
>implying Stellaris isn't just CKII in spess.
I'm not playing it as a replacement for MoO2.
>>337344436
BWAAAAAA my antique game is blown the fuck out.
times change anon, just accept the fact and let it go
Don't say stupid shit, OP
Stellaris won't be forgotten because it will get quarterly DLC for the next 4 years.
You might not want to remember it, but Paradox knows how to keep their titles 'fresh'
>>337348060
Yeah but look at ck2...
After years of expansions you still cant go tall and the prime initiative is still to blob..
They still have shitty game score and you get tons of it by conquest...
Combat is still basic as fuck, you cant go tall...You can even go tall in civilization.
>>337344436
Stellaris is a fucking joke.
>>337348430
I guess shockingly they don't want people building up million person cities in 1043
>>337348573
Muh graphics
Who cares as long as the functionality is the same
>>337348573
Implying 1996 screen is better. If you're refering to 3D city grafix, you're fucking retarded as it's not about grafix and is a waste of time making 3D models for hundreds of different races.
You're a fucking retard.
>>337348573
Anyone remembers Deadlock: Planetary Conquest?
That game was cool.

>>337349205
>hurr durr I want to play numbers only
Why don't you play Aurora then?
>>337349205
holy fuck Paradox drones really are this brainwashed
>>337349706
Let's be honest here, MoO is great and all but there isn't really much in the name of depth on that screen.
Well, both of them really.
Stellaris has sold a ton and is guaranteed to get expanded content.
Whilst also being a decent 4X and a nice grand strategy that isn't too bloated to get into.
>>337350030
>that isn't too bloated
more like 'void of content that'll be added in DLC'
>>337350112
I was more meaning that all the ingame concepts aren't dumped on you at the start like CK2 but if you want to be contrarian and fit in with the /v/ hivemind that works too.
>>337350030
>decent 4X and a nice grand strategy
You're joking, right? Stellaris is boring as fuck. All you do is annoying micro to get another +2 to your red crystal. In MoO you can actually think what buildings you need on the planet. Some planet can be used to produce food for your whole empire, some can be great for science research, some can be industrial centres to build your space fleet while in Stellaris you just build a structure which let you get maximum bonus to your red crystals or yellow lightnings.
>>337350112
It's 2016, you shouldn't be shocked by this by now.
Also it's silly all the people comparing this to games that are already 4-5 expansions in in content. The fuck do you expect
