>choose the ranger(?) female character at start, because friend told me he will be meele, and I dislike mages
>play some missions, so far so good
>jumping around is godlike
>eventually start using only the bow
>unlocking systems, starting to grind
>unlock/build some meele weapon, a kind of spear I think
>start using meele more
>realize all you have to do is run up to the enemies deflecting shit and killing them before they could shit themselves even
>level up weapon to be even more efficient
>after that its just mashing one button in the entire game while grinding for things I wouldn't use
I come back to it ince in a while, but it's just an mmo with no open world, so it's still the same grinding, no endgame and laughable PvP

MR21 here with over 3k hours in and nearly 1,000+ kills on every single weapon. Muiltiple arcane sets: Avenger, ultimatum, barrier, guardian, etc. Atleast 500 hours spent in trade chat. sitting on 1.2k plat non of which I paid any $ for, with about another 5k in moveable assets.

That's how I sum the entire game up. It's easy to get burnt out on but otherwise it's fuck loads of fun.

I got to the edge of mastery which was 19 at the time around hour 1,800-2,000 is so yes it takes a long time the first time doing it.
However that being said I do have alts and they are all mr10-15 and that takes me about a month or so on each to get to mr10 another two to three months to get to 15.

The amount of time you have to fuck around with menu's and your inventory has bloated out of fucking control as the game has progressed (and don't even get me fucking started on trading if you want to make plat without paying).
there's far too much focus on implementing mechanics that keep players fucking around in menus instead of playing, which makes sense since the rate of actual playable content per update is generally rather small but at heart that is the issue with the game.
