The first one on PC was great, the second had some really really bad design choices but was OK and had a really unique setting and good graphics.
From there on out the games are just plain bad.
I thought Primal was pretty good except it too suffers from "everything out there wants to kill you" and there was just so fucking many enemies EVERYWHERE all the time.
I have not enjoyed any Far Cry after the second one, not one.
They are so copy pasted nothing remarkable shooters with open world as can be

Unlock the railgun first, its one of the best weapons for the game. Shotgun for hordes of small enemies and rocket launcher for the big guys. Dont unlock any other weapons, spend all the rest of exp in upgrading your character

farcry 3->4 are pretty much the same fucking game. I liked 3 but it got boring after a bit. Farcry 4 was just more of the same and got boring after a bit as well.
but they are fun for a good 6-8 hours at least.

I thought FC3 was an entertaining, dumb action game that did the "entertaining dumb action game" genre perfectly, where as so many other games fail hard at it (Tomb Raider for one example.) FC3 went full retard at times but fully embraced it, every character was ridiculous, but the game had good enough storytelling to pull it off.
