Last Light Redux is better in every way. 2033 Redux is great, better UI, better weapon system. However, there are some changes to the atmosphere/character designs/voices that people did not like.These are SUBJECTIVE in nature and often boil down to nostalgic preference.

Can't comment on LL: Redux, I imagine it's pretty close to LL. 2033 though doesn't feel right in the redux to me. I don't know how to describe it other than just having a generic AAA shooter look and atmosphere when compared to the original.
Metro 2033 is good, never played the redux but the original looks better graphics wise although with worse performance
Metro Last Light Redux is pretty much more of the same yet worse
Metro 2033 Redux is heavily downgraded compared to the original, Eurogamer pulled their Digital Foundry review of it because they didn't want Consoles to look bad
Redux 2033 has choppier reload animations and there's less hidden items in nooks and crannies, opting to put everything in fucking obvious locations. It also follows Last Light's design in putting tacticool shit on all the guns instead of pure iron sights and maybe a scope or a suppressor.

Maybe original, but they're pretty close. 2033 is a huge difference because it's remade with Last Light's engine and graphics so it's completely different while LL is nearly the same.
ON AN UNRELATED NOTE: Kshatriya DLC is absolutely amazing. Still pretty linear but it shows how a more open Metro game could be made.
Original is better than Redux IMO.
