Unless you play Untold's Story Mode(remakes of the DS games) there is ZERO character development because your party is built from scratch and are blank slates, a light story that goes from moderate threats to shit gets real, and decent lore. Each game is technically standalone but play similarly. EO is a first person dungeon crawling turn based JRPG with map drawing, party building, and used to be known as not very newbie friendly AT ALL. You walk in a peaceful forest then get your shit pushed in by deer. OST is comfy as fuck.

But then again I love dodge tanking so Fencer still appeals to me. Cestus comes with binds(?) which is always good and Masurao is cute. Got really tired of the series while playing Untold.
All the games play out the exact same way, same MMO-ish grind, same enemies, same boring dungeon design..
It's fun for a few games but I can't get excited over a new title unless this one is like a Wizardry 6 scope improvement.

Not really, then whole lolis thing has always been an exaggeration. There's only ever been a handful of them, don't bother using 1 and 2 as examples since the art style was really chibi(ronins are 20 for example).
