Yeah I was thinking the same thing since both platinum and square have been putting out a fair amount of PC stuff lately. But you never know, I mean NieR came out on both PS3 and 360, was published by square (though the devs never did do any PC I don't think).
Oh well here's hoping, because I don't want to have to shell out for a console just yet.

Yeah I remember reading that he was, and didn't see it explicitly mentioned in game, but at the same time I could still see it knowing about it. I kind of assumed that more was revealed in bonus materials that dragon dragoon games have, and the game was trying to keep it only barely there. Was there an explicit mention of it in the Japanese version that got removed, or was it just made more clear?

How do I beat D3's final boss? I tried it on my own for hours and then I gave in and followed a guide. I keep getting near the end withall the sistersand then the sequence comes out with all those notes at the same time and the last note is delayed a bit. It's always the delayed note. I try hitting it at the same time, earlier, and later than the video shows but I am ALWAYS missing that note and I don't know why. It really pisses me off. I've been at this for 2 weeks and I'm about to crack

PS3 had ps2 emulation built in didn't it? At least on the big original models there was a PS2 slim built right in there basically, later models did software emulation from what I can recall.

I doubt it. Most of Taro's works, even his sequels, are self contained. At worst it would probably make some things easier to understand, but I'm sure anything important will be explained.

I don't know anon, from what I read from posts here is that she won't be returning, she did a re-arrrange of a NieR song for that live concert thing, but I don't think she'll be doing the main soundtrack, instead it was someone else. I think their name started with an R, sorry I can't be of more concrete help anon, my memory is absolutely trash. Let me check the archives and see if I can't find out what I'm thinking of.

IIRC other parts of the world had similar grimoire+shadowlord+android setups that were successful in rebooting humanity (at least 10, given that there are 13 grimoires and we deal with 3--or maybe 5, given that Weiss/Noir were a package deal and Rubrum was defective somehow). Well I looked around and I don't see any specifics on if she is or isn't returning, but people are saying that the composer has said that they wanted to go in a new direction with the sound, and some have said that the one song that's been previewed doesn't sound like her. There's a few articles claiming that translations from interview says she isn't returning, but I am not sure because I don't understand jap. (dualshockers says that the interview says she isn't returning so if you trust them I guess that's proof)
If she is returning, I don't know why they wouldn't be making it publicly known since it would probably be a big boost for fans.

I wouldn't call him that.
He was a murderer, not but genocidal (he makes a point of mentioning he isn't some kind of "killing snob"). I feel bad for him in retrospect just because he was AWAKE the whole time and no matter who won in the end he'd still be fucked. Nothing he did in pre-Nier justifies that fate (kidnapping and being a total shithead to Emil comes pretty close though, not gonna lie).
