The mobile market will not tolerate $40 games made in the style of traditional handhelds. They're going to be chopped up and sold as piece meal time wasters like every other shitty mobile game.
If any Nintendo series would work on mobile it would be Fire Emblem/Advance Wars and Animal Crossing. But I'm not holding my breath on them being any good.

Depends on your chosen difficulty level. Debut and Regular are easy enough. Pro is fun. Master is hard. Master+ is absolute horseshit.

Hit sounds and graphics aren't determined by difficulty, that's just how it is in the videos I found. You have quite a bit of flexibility in terms of settings.
