What is your brokeback mountain of games, meaning a game/series that you just can't quit and keep coming back to?
For me, I played a fuck ton of diablo 2 growing up, and I still make a new character at least once a year and go through the game. Same thing with borderlands 1, I like the anticipation for new loot and seeing what will drop.
My other one would have to be dragons dogma. I put well over 1000 hours on it on 360 over 6 gamertags, and have 400 hours on the PC release over 3 steam accounts.
Dark Souls.
I haven't played in a few months now, but I know it's just a matter of time until I get curious about a particular build and then lose four weeks of my life.

I've played so much of it that I literlly accociate it with my childhood and get sweet feels everytime I play it. Last time though, about two years ago, I found out that I get really tired of it very quickly. Oh well.

I play it through at least once a year. My PSX finally shit the bed, however, and I haven't played it the past 2 years.. I need to get a bargain bin PS3 or something.
PS4 doesn't play PS1 games, right?

Is that real? My past attempts to emulate MGS have turned out to be complete unplayable horseshit. Though I may have just done shit wrong. I don't know how to into emulation good.
I'd say that KoF is like Bareback Mountain for me. I just can't stop, even after realizing I'll never be as good as the Koreans.

It's MOSTLY true for the first hour or so, but once you get to Psycho Mantis, the invisibility effect turns the computer into lava.
