Witcher has always been like that though? Despite SJW bitching about women being sexualized, the women are often some of the most powerful and badass characters in the universe. Whether they're male or female in the Witcher they run the gambit from badass to weak and corruptible with a varying degree of moral ambiguity between all of them.

It's the lighting. Every woman in Witcher 3 has different coloration where people are saying the 5 o'clock shadow is in these pictures and that's because human beings naturally tend to have more color in their cheeks. It does look slightly more pronounced in this image than it usually does though which is why everyone's freaking out about it (plus the one on the right has particularly masculine-looking features in my opinion.)

It's free. There was a ton of small free DLC, but the expansions (Hearts of Stone, Blood & Wine) are bought separately.
General opinion on /v/ is that it's pretty good, personally it's the best open-world game I've played. Of course most open-world games are shit with Assassin's Creed-tier filler quests and collectathons. Surprisingly W3 has almost none of this.

I doubt it to be honest. In the books shes actually pretty cool, if a little naive. The whole point of Toussaint was that it was the storybook fantasy land that the rest of the world wasn't. CDProject could change it, but I doubt that they will considering their attachment to canon elsewhere.
