Do you think games for systems like the PS2, Wii and Xbox 360 will ever reach the price-gouging fuckery that NES, SNES and N64 games have?
Hopefully hipsters will have died out by the time those consoles are considered 'retro'
Some PS2 games already go for pretty high prices
This is now a local Craigslist thread
If they had a limited release, yes.
Pretty sure a ps3 and 6 popular games will also run about $140.

Yes, but a ps3 is 10x more powerful than a SNES and decades newer
>>337204103
Wait until they're old enough that normies don't care about them but not old enough to be retro. That's the perfect time to buy them.

Just a PSA: If you want to collect expensive games right now so you won't get fucked in the future get on the PS3: 3D Dot Game Heros and Afrika. For the 360 get Marvel Ultimate Alliance Gold.

NBA Elite 11 is the holy grail for PS3. If you ever somehow find it snatch it immediately. A complete copy is worth around $800. USD.

Better to question why idiots are paying these prices for games that can be emulated on toasters.

Collecting is a thing people like to do. People like physical media.

10x
MUCH more kiddo
bump because I want a collecting thread
Rule of Rose on PS2 I'd approaching pretty ridiculous levels.
I remember back in the day no one wanted to preorder "pedophile silent hill".
Eat shit.
Games not as good as the intro though.

True, some games are expensive. But Little Samson for NES was around $60 in the early '00s.
Right now if you go to thrift stores you can spend less than $100 and get a decent collection of great PS2 games. The difficult part is sorting the trash from the treasures.

I bet a physical copy of Tokyo jungle would fetch a pretty penny later on down the road.

>SUPER EXCITING!!
