I own every COD and Battlefield since 2009 and I can still find multiplayer games on all of them. I've played around 1000 hours on both BF3 and BF4 throughout their two years of support. What single player game would give you 1000 hours of fun? Every open world game I've played took about 50 hours to complete the main story and side quests and then got boring. I doubt I'd replay MGSV or Fallout 4 20 times
