This and the final boss were my fav in Dark Souls 3, but I wouldn't say it was as good as Ludwig. Ludwig felt really good because A: It was extremely difficult but never felt unfair and B: Dat fucking music in BOTH stages.
Not to mention the BIG FROM SOFT'S BABY REVEAL mid-fight. Dark Souls 3's "cool moments" were pretty lacking, desu.

I don't think two human bosses that warp around match Ludwig by a long shot. I like the Princes fight, but for all of DaS2's complaints, this boss felt like it belonged to it. But instead of princes, it would've been a second pair of arms doing the casting.

Most people don't overlevel, or summon. Shit, I'd be surprised if half the prople here even parried Orphan. They're intense fights, the enemies keep pressure, the areas are neat, the music is great, their designs are fucking fantastic, and the lore surrounding them is really good too.
I did Luwdig second time, but Orphan took me about 10 attempts. Most intense fight since O&S for me, and by comparison they're babymode.
