I think the setting is a good choice, it's underused and aesthetically pleasing. A lot of negative reactions I see comes from the trailer though, it's action, adventure, and excitement for a conflict that killed these ideas. Something that displayed the period and tech but kept some of the tragedy that it was would have been better received.

I wanted to give it shit for the massive cash grab I know it will be, but it looks fun. I will probably buy it and never really touch the campaign, like usual.
However, the launch will probably be lacking in content, and shit overall.
I was really hoping for WW2, but this will be interesting nonetheless. I really hope machine guns get their own class, but I'm not so sure of the less man-portable ones (i.e. Vickers).

It will be shit. They know you can't have slow bolt action FPS in 2016 so they found a way to add full auto infantry weaponry for the cod fags. If you think you gonna be running around with your karbine with bombs flying around you then you are mistaken. You will be hipfiring a full auto experimental assault rifle (that looks suspiciously like a modern rifle)
