Bullshit. Even at 410 you're getting ears 4% of the time. That's 750 Knights. Optimal route has you kill the two Knights not the slower three. That's 375 trips up and down the stairs. Half an hour would be 13 trips per minute. Or a trip every 4.8 seconds without rest all while popping a finite number of gold coins.

Not to mention you get 2 of them every playthrough. So by the time you get to NG++ you only have to farm 24 instead of 28 if you do it on NG. If you're going for full achievements anyways (or just getting all +2 rings for whatever reason) this will save you some time for sure.

Like, over the course of multiple sessions, you've been getting regular summons?
Why are some players fucked over like this? Is it a port forward thing?

What if I'm fine staying in NG++, which is apparently the last + they bothered making new drops for? Seriously, there's no reason to do anything other than keep a save at a point where I've got all my respecs left and 7-8 slabs to put anywhere, aside from some weird sense of accomplishment from beating the same predetermined clump of pixels for the fourth time in a row.
I want to experience what this game has to offer, but if I'm allowed to run out of the material that makes sure something is viable for PVP, the game obviously doesn't want me to play it that much.
I'm fine with not playing all the way through each time, of course. People have already made tools to keep a certain save state on standby, and I'm okay with using them if From wants me to. I just wanted to make sure first.

It can't be a port forward thing, because I get invaded no problem along with frequent invasions. I never get summoned while in the Darkmoons, covenant is just broken for some.

Just to be clear, you're saying the Blue Sentinels are limited to the area they're in, but Darkmoon Blades go anywhere.

If you do anything that would put you on the list for a softban, it will warn you the next time you get into the main menu. You have the chance to delete your hacked save at that point before the ban wave hits, so that you don't get banned.
So make a backup and try it out, then tell us if it warns you.

I'm fairly sure the only difference between both is that blue sentinels can't get the double proof item from killing Aldritch Faithful.

The only reason blue sentinels exist is a dumb lore reason and it's out of place to have that in Dark Souls of all things.
Basically it's just the remainder of the Darkmoon Sentinels that over the centuries lost their own identity so you have these guys defending others from invaders by tradition but without knowing why.
I thought they fixed in the patch? I was getting like 3-4 summons per area after that patch.

They increased the SL range the covenant scans to send the players but it didn't fix 80% of the players never getting a single summon ever.

I was playing through on a second character whent he patch hit, and started getting 3-4 summons per area as I played through the game. Like, summoned 3 times in Catacombs, then summoned 4 times in Smouldering Lake, then summoned 4 times in Irithyll, etc. Before the patch, I only ever got summoned twice in the entirety of my first playthrough.

I just used infinite items to get mine. I'm going to delete the save and start fresh for the DLC anyway so I shoud be fine.

The other night we were active in Irithyll Dungeon around SL 60-70, and at one point we had a Darkmoon and a Sentinel summoned in to fight a single Red. Shit was hilarious chasing him through the level.
More commonly though, any Blue that gets summoned in is terrible at PvP and loses 1v1s against Reds.
Less commonly, we get a Blue that's stellar at PvP and ends up on the 24/7 invasion train with us. Strung along on back to back to back invasions. I really hope they get rewards per kill and not just for removing ALL invaders, or else the invasion train would suck.

I've been a blue in that situation, you get a reward for each kill.

I actually did, although I would rather have gotten summoned. At 550 item discovery I was getting one about every three runs, and it was exciting when they dropped.

Blues aren't summoned for summoned fights.
Summoning reds or purples is just to entertain them, really. They get full HP for a fairer fight as well.
