Have you reported to Port Maw today, /v/?
Can I get transferred to a different world?
These guys are really starting to bum me out.

Oh wow more Astartes, Eldar and Orks. This won't be boring as fuck.
>>337188085
Sure.
You're with the Steel Legion now, son.

Excellent, work is done now for Warhammer.

explain this
>>337190454
FoK was the best for TT-like play.
>Spess muhreenz, chaos and eldar shitters complaining about autocannons non-stop
It's a good year for 40k.
>>337190625
It's a bug that was only possible in the beta. Real crazy shit.
I'm still pissed my playthrough of the Tau stronghold crashed at the end.
No?
Alright, maybe next time.
>>337192314
That image was based on a real painting. Writefaggotry from /tg/:
>Vostroyan Firstborn to the Warmaster of Chaos!
>O warmaster, Warp devil and damned Khorne's kith and kin, secretary to Tzeentch himself. What the devil kind of Space Marine are you, that can't slay a squig with your naked arse? Nurgle excretes, and your army eats. You will not, you son of a bitch, make subjects of Imperial sons; we've no fear of your army, by land and by void we will battle with thee, fuck your Primarch.
>You Cadian scullion, Catachan wheelwright, brewer of Krieg, grox-fucker of Tallarn, swineherd of Greater and Lesser Armageddon, pig of Elysia, Praetorian thief, catamite of Valahalla, hangman of Mordian, and fool of all the Materium and Immaterium, an idiot before the Emperor, grandson of Slaanesh, and the crick in our dick. Pig's snout, mare's arse, slaughterhouse cur, unchristened brow, screw your own Primarch!
>So the Vostroyans declare, you lowlife. You won't even be herding pigs for the Imperials. Now we'll conclude, for we don't know the date in the Warp; the moon's in the sky, the year with the Emperor, the day's the same over here as it is over there, maybe; for this kiss our arse!
>Alexandr Mikhailovich, with the whole Vostroyan Host.

>>337192686
I've seen the painting and this is great.
>>337192841
How 'bout this?
>The Kommandos set out in a looted Tau transport ship, using captured codes to approach the Vor’sanar dockyard under the pretence of having been damaged in an Ork raid and seeking safe harbour. The Tau were initially suspicious of the lone vessel limping into their station, but every demand for identification was met with a satisfactory response, and the idea that Orks could undertake such a ruse was unthinkable to the Tau. It was a horrific surprise then when the vacuum seals opened and Ork Kommandos poured out into the station. By the time the Tau had mustered to repel the invaders, the Kommandos had reached the station’s reactors. Smashing them to scrap, they set off a chain reaction, dooming the station and allowing Waaagh! Grog to ransack Vor’sanar and ultimately the entire sector.
>Be Tau
>Invite Necrons over for a tea party
>>337193103
>Entire sector
Thats like, what? 1/10th of their empire.
>Be Tau
>Have cultural exchange with Dark Eldar
>>337193103
>>337193238
The blueberries aren't even here yet. But it's good to make preemptive strikes, just to be sure.
>>337187973
Been playing it all day, even after 50 hours this game is still solid.
>>337193398
Affirmative.
>>337192841
>>337193398
It's just fun roasting the weeb blueberries and watch them try to defend after being salty.
>Be Tau
>Have Space Pope gibbed by Imperium assassin
>>337193374
>be tau
>necrons coming to planet after wiping out tyranids
>tau literally rolls out the red carpet
>>337193103
Wasn't there an instance where a warboss figured out a way to out-dakka the Tau?
>>337193842
Thus Grog decided to take a different tack. Deploying many Tankbustas, Flash Gitz, and the Freebooters of Kaptin Badrukk, Grog managed to upgrade his armies firepower as well as loot captured Tau weaponry. Ready to face the Tau, Grog managed to use his armies newly acquired long-range firepower to penetrate the Farsight Enclaves in a bloody exchange of fire. The Tau were only saved by the arrival of a Tau Manta Missile Destroyer, which cut down Badrukk's Flash Gitz with railgun fire and forced the Freebooter captain to retreat.[1]
As the battle in the Farsight Enclaves escalated, Grog embarked on his most cunning plan yet. Utilizing the concept of "retreat", something nearly unheard of in Ork "Kultur, Grog managed to overextend the aggressive Tau hunter-killer teams and crush them in a bloody ambush. Pursuing the retreating Tau back to their base, the Orks looted and pillaged even more of the Tau's impressive arsenal and become an even greater threat. The tide of the war had turned decisively in the Orks' favour
>>337193927
That's a very intelligent Ork... someone should kill him.
>>337193927
>Que bullshit Tau plot armor that saves them in the end
Fuck Tau, they don't belong in the grimdark.
>>337194234
Naw, the end of this was da big raid >>337193103
>>337193667
When you send an Imperium assasin is it assumed that they will die in the process, like a disposable free kill token or something?
Or can they do some sick extraction shit and get out
Also everyone talks shit about the Tau but the necron are fucking strong, even if they didn't roll out the carpet they would have been seriously fucked
I want to see some necrons battle each other though, as the lords apparently like to attack one another
>>337193103
>>337187973
Gave up after campaign. It was effort to level from scratch and I have Stellaris to play.
>>337194306
depends on the type of assassin, most are not expected to return, the skull dudes actually self destruct on death/mission completion
>>337194306
Dunno the full thing but this was a Psyker hunter assassin, i'm assuming he smuck out because he had enough psychic power to cause the blueberries to collapse from being mind raped.
>>337188272
>why are the original races getting the spot light?

Wait....

Naw nigga, it was the opposite of a psyker. Google culexus assassin
>>337194852
Reminder, the Blood Ravens stole a titan from Graia.
>>337194618
>>337194893
Culexus used his aura of fear, which he gives off whether you're a pysker or not, and Spiderman'd his way into the bunker of Aun'va and chased the old faggot out.
Not that it matters, Shadowsuns plot armour saved her again. Vindicare didn't do much but kill some useless shit. Eversor surfboard rode some drones and blew up.
Least they're progressing the plot. Aun'va is dead for Tau, Canis is dead for SW.

Daily reminder that SEGA's marketing team stole shit from Zdzisław Beksiński.
>>337195350
>Complaining about stealing in 40k
Thoughts on the death korps?
>>337195384
I said SEGA. 40k is a mishmash of stolen shit, but GW chucked a load of that out cause it was too dangerous. There is a reason Inquisitor Obi-wan Sherlock Clousseau doesn't exist any more.
The art they used in the trailer isn't in 40k. It was SEGA doing it. You know, actual humans alive right now.
>>337195534
They need a game.
>>337195534
the Fans are insufferable.
>>337195128
What are the chances those knights are freeblades? It's actually impossible for an Adeptus to "own" any titan, thry all belong to a house.
>>337195536
You know SEGA aren't the animators, right?
>>337195128
why are blood ravens always stealing shit?
>>337193374
>Cultural exchange with dark eldar.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSNVQL8nImU
>>337195725
I want to say they stole the freeblades loyalty but the Ravens probably just asked for help because of how few marines are left.
>>337195534
They all really deserve a girlfriend. Be it human or Xeno, anything to make sleeping on a cold, cement bunker floor more enjoyable.
>>337195751
Correct, but they still paid for this. They used the same marketing team for Warhammer Total War.
>>337187973
Anyone else having a hard time finding the fun in this game?
The only faction I like playing after 20+ hours is Orkz, and every match ends up playing out the same.
>>337195854
Go figure the magpies bribed the knights loyalty by flashing a shiny new melta gun, faceplate or stubber.
>>337195970
and you paid for 40k stuff which is blatant rip off
>>337195808
Magpies have a popular misconception that they like stealing shiny objects to attract mates. So, since Ravens are part of the, well, Raven family, like magpies, jackdaws and crows... Kinda makes sense for them to steal shit.
>>337196041
Feel free to explain what is a 'blatant ripoff' when it's the space fantasy version of WHFB, which itself is a mix of inspired shit, LotR and Moorecock and other things.

For anyone who is interested in the original painting and lettter.
>>337194615
Seems like a waste of a incredibly expensive training investment, I mean these guys could decimate basically anything depending on the type of assassin
>Culexus literally brainfuck people with their helmets
>Callidus shapeshift into virtually anything and decieve people for months on end to finally kill them while netting the bonus of changing enemy tactics and sending them to the Imperium
>Vindicare basically go into hibernation in a single spot waiting for literally the absolute perfect oppurtunity to snipe something
>Eversor assassins are Doomguy 2.0 on steroids with a bloodlust unmatched even by khornate berzerkers
God fucking damn post more Imperial assassins this shit is like crack
Do any other race have bullshit on this level? I think I saw an anon posting about a eldar Solitaire but I'm not sure how that stands against these guys
>>337196062
It's also because they arent an official Chapter. Meaning thry don't recieve daily new munitions like other chapters, they scrounge and steal from everybody else. A rhino, an artifact, a crate of saltine crackers they'll take it. But the good thing is they usually die in droves.
>>337196164
>When it's warhammer it's "Inspired"
>>337196164
Original design do not steal
>>337196205
If you like assassins check out Ionis Gambit and Samos Sanction. Two GW comics about the assassins in operation.
>Do any other race have bullshit on this level?
Most factions have some kind of super powered bullshit such as Phoenix Lords and Solitares from the Eldar, or anything written by Ward.
>>337196428
>It's like a Star Wars walker...but better
Wew, but seriously that's fucking sad, give me the other walkers with the full glass shield instead.
>>337196205
Solitares are pretty much souless eldar elites. I think a solitare would give any of those guys a run for their money.
>>337187740
I tought bolters ammo where expensive sacred 'n' shiet and Shpace meurinz were ultra controlled about that. Explain why they use it against a gretchin in the trailer ?
>>337196357
That's how it was. It was nerds who wanted to take the shit they liked from LOTR, Moorecoke and most importantly D&D and combined it into a setting to use D&D figures. Which just so happened to allow them to fill a niche for the next 30 years.
>>337196428
Wow. I bipedal robot. Loads of such things exist. Do you think that Edge of Tomorrow Mechs copied Avatars Mechs and Avatar Mechs copied Matrix Revolutions Mechs or something?
>>337196547
>Phoenix Lords
Remember reading path of the warrior and everything fucking died in that book. Then one of the Lords got back up again in the end.
It was a weird book.
>>337196217
If thats the case why don't other chapters kick their shit in?
>>337196664
The fuck are you on about? If it's a Xeno you shoot it dead. The real question is why they fired bolts and charged right into a pair of fucking dreads, getting an entire squad killed.
>>337196637
There is only one Solitaire. It isn't an 'elite unit'. It's just one Eldar who has damned their soul to Slaanesh in return for power from Loki... Sorry, I mean Ceggorach.
>>337196771
They arent allowed to since the magpies are "in" the imperium. Only chapter that watches them carefully is the Dark Templars.
>>337196787
Why wastin a bolt on a little gretchin when you can use your sword ?
>>337196217
This is not true. They are an official chapter, their founding is unknown. That's it.
You do realise they regularly work with other chapters, right? Hell, one of their Librarians is with Cassius's Elite Deathwatch team.
>>337196885
Thry were too busy rushing the dreads and didn't wanna stop for one stupid gretchin.
>>337196747
So that is not a rip off of an AT-ST but that artwork is a rip off?
>>337196749
The Phoenix Lords are suits of armour that take over and assume direct control of the wearer, supplanting the wearers conciousness with that of the original Phoenix Lord. The wearers soul merges with the soul gems in the suit adding further knowledge to the Phoenix Lord. So they're not just incredibly old, they also have the tactics, knowledge and history of hundreds if not thousands of Eldar. They're not easy to kill.
>>337196787
FOR THE EMPEROR!
>>337196990
The artwork isn't a setting.
You can't go "all Elves are copied form LotR". Yet you can go "That artwork is almost a 1:1 copy"
>>337197012
I swear that looks like he's about to hit it with a part of a tree he found laying around.
>>337197001
Throw the suit into a sun?
>>337197012
Arent Space marines suppose to be smart? What the fuck is that chainsword gonna do to a fucking Dread? Shouldn't thry have waited for artillery or knoghts to show up?
>>337197098
A AT-ST rip off is a setting?
>>337197153
>>337196885
How dare you discuss logic with warhammer 4000000000000000000000K fans ? They'll drown you in memes.
>>337197153
its more like "fear no death" charge in the emperor's name and strategies as in between while dying.
>>337197247
No, it's part of a setting, again, it's like saying, say, Warcraft Elves are a copy of LotR. They're INSPIRED. The artwork isn't a setting. It is an almost 1:1 copy.
What is so hard about this? The fact I and other people noticed it means that it was subtle and must have been done on pupose.

40k doesn't really have many memes outside of in-jokes.
>>337197153
Likely because he had nothing left and decided it was better to try than not. Though the Codex says to leg it if you can't win.
>>337197419
So if those locations are in the game will it be not a rip off anymore?
>>337196830
There are more than it's not like there is whole army out there but not only one exists at any given time.
>>337197551
No, it will be if they're that close to the original. But the chances are they won't be, as that was a marketing teams choice, not Relics.
>>337195128
For reelz, wtf were the Ultramarines thinking letting the Blood Ravens secure the Titan
>>337197779
The problem with Ultramarines is, they always try to follow the Codex.
