Speaking of SJ, I'm fucking boned right now. I did the Ouroboros fight, and though the first fight was annoying, I managed with ease thanks to items. But after the fight, my alignment shifted to chaos, which fucked up my damage output due to all my demons being neutral. I don't even dare walking into his chamber, am I fucked?

Compared the Devil Survivor 1, does anyone else feel like there's less variety to the missions? Or something like that? I can't quite figure out why I enjoyed the first game more, but looking back I think most of the missions in devil survivor 2 were just about crushing the enemy with overwhelming force whereas movement skills, NPCs, map structure, etc. were more essential in devil survivor 1.
Does this sound right to anyone else?

Not really. The art style is very appealing, and I enjoyed it in DRRR and in Caladrius.
I've never actually given much time to any of the Devil survivor games, but given the 3ds releases I kind of feel like trying again.
I just don't really like srpgs, but is there anything for a huge fan of smt to get out of these games given that? The combat is just such a slog to me.

It's more of a regular demon fusing SMT game than something like Fire Emblem IMO, you clear most levels by having strong demons with proper skills rather than about tactics specifically like a real sRPG.
