Not to me honestly. Not even hating them for WoW, but the most innovative thing they've done in years is SC2 singleplayer. Everything else has played second-fiddle to the waves of the industry.
They still have some pretty great-tier female design, but that don't matter too much to me.

D3 made a comeback with its expansion but /v/ denies it and didn't try it. HOTS isnt going to compete with LoL but its not dead. SC2 is just going steady without much competition. Hearthstone is its own monster at this point. WoW might make a comeback with Legion despite what /v/ says without doing research.

I truly applaud this excellent marketing strategy. Just before you do something great, you have the oppertunity to do something really shitty. Imagine if valve reintrodues paid mods... a month before they announce half life 3.

They literally shit on over a decade of consumer trust by releasing diablo 3, WoD in the state it is and now they're falling back on overwatch/hearthstone normie shit.

The last straw for me was Diablo 3 RoS. D3 vanilla was garbage, then "loot 2.0" came and suddenly it was more fun - but only then were you told to buy RoS to fix your already shit game.

- make spell damage not based on weapon damage
- rewrite the story from the ground up
- rewrite the dialogue from the ground up
- axe half the new characters
- completely redesign itemization
- change the way skills work
- introduce a skill tree and stat points on level up
- create an entirely new soundtrack
- offer an offline mode

The game was such a fucking mess that they couldn't fix it. They'd have to scrap it and make a completely new game.
Just pretend D3 doesn't exist and play POE or Grim Dawn instead.
